SBC offers the following flexible options to match district reopening plans:
- Direct Consultation and Assessment and IEP Training
- Direct ABA Support with an RBT ®
- Professional Development
A combination of services can be provided based on the needs of the district, families and students:
- In-person
- Remote
- Center-Based at Solutions Center for Autism


Consultation, Behavior Assessment & Student IEP Team Training
SBC provides consultation and assessments for students with autism and behavioral needs without adding adults to classrooms.
- FBAs conducted and BIPs developed through live remote observation, teacher and parent interviews, data analysis and student interviews using HIPAA secure platforms
- Telehealth ethics stringently followed to ensure student privacy (telehealth policy provided)
- Asynchronous behavior assessment and data monitoring
- Staff development and teacher training on individual plans
Professional Development
Our BCBAs® provide professional development for all levels of staff including those in less structured settings (e.g., lunch and recess). Training length is customized to meet the staff’s schedule.
Professional Development Topics
- Behavior Supports to minimize disruptive behaviors
- Motivating learners in the classroom and direct remote learning
- Strategies to teach and promote self-instruction, self-monitoring, and self-reporting
- Teaching rule governed behavior such as: wearing masks, social distancing, adapting to new forms of instruction


Direct ABA Support with an RBT :
- Skilled registered behavior technicians (RBT) provide daily support to students with autism and other special needs
- Direct ABA instruction is provided in-person or virtually
- For those students attending school virtually, SBC provides facilitated behavioral supports to assist students with behavioral needs (BIPs) engage in the curriculum.
- Teacher and support staff training provided to implement the behavior intervention plan effectively and with fidelity.
- Behavior Intervention Plan data is monitored frequently in person or remotely to ensure progress
Center Based Services
Through Solutions Center for Autism we provide 1:1 services for students who are unable to maintain skills or learn new skills through remote instruction.
- Students are provided their own instructional room or area
- No shared materials
- Intense COVID regulations for sanitizing work spaces, frequently accessed areas such as bathrooms, gross motor areas, and outside spaces
- Daily COVID Screening
- Staff wear masks at all times while working with students.
